About Christy
Christy Rosen Clement is a South Tampa native and Real Estate Associate with Smith & Associates. Since 2018, she has helped buyers and sellers navigate the Tampa real estate market with honest advice, clear communication, and a practical approach.
Christy was raised in New Suburb Beautiful and Parkland Estates and attended Mitchell Elementary, Wilson Middle, and Plant High School before attending the University of Florida. She has lived in Gray Gables for more than 20 years, where neighbors will often see her out walking her dogs. Today, she works throughout the neighborhoods she has known her entire life, including Gray Gables, Ballast Point, Virginia Park, Beach Park, Sunset Park, South of Gandy, Riverside Heights, Seminole Heights, and the surrounding Tampa area. She knows the different personalities of these neighborhoods - and just about every South Tampa back road.
Christy specializes in working with first-time homebuyers, empty nesters, move-up buyers, and homeowners preparing to sell. Whether someone is buying a starter home, downsizing after many years, or trying to decide if moving makes sense at all, she provides the information needed to make a smart decision. She is honest about the market, realistic about pricing, and never interested in pressuring someone into a move that isn’t right for them.
Before entering real estate, Christy earned a Master’s degree in social work, owned an art and science enrichment business, and managed The Prep of South Tampa. Her varied background sharpened her ability to listen, communicate clearly, and stay calm when things get complicated - skills that translate naturally to guiding clients through real estate.
A lifetime in Tampa has also allowed Christy to build a wide network of relationships throughout the community. She is always happy to connect clients with reliable local professionals, businesses, and service providers - even long after a transaction has closed.
Christy’s connection to Tampa is both professional and personal. Her husband, David, also grew up in South Tampa, and their children, Ally and Nate, attended local public schools, played youth sports throughout the area, and now attend Florida universities.
